The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the party enter places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
